Employee Spotlight: Mark North!

Renaissance Rentals is staffed by a diverse team of local professionals. In our employee spotlight blog series, we'll be highlighting the talented individuals that help to make our company Bloomington's most trusted local landlord!

Mark North is the maintenance technician at our Scholar's Rock, Quad, and Rooftop communities. To help you learn more about him, I've asked him some "getting to know you" questions. 

1.) What do you like about living in Bloomington?

"I enjoy living in Bloomington because it isn't a huge city. You can drive 15 minutes in any direction and be out in the country. I was born and raised in Bloomington."

2.) What's your favorite thing about working for Renaissance Rentals?

"I enjoy working for 'RenRen' because the people here are laid back, but hardworking. I have been at 'RenRen' since 2007, and I really enjoy my work."

3.) What's your favorite local restaurant and why?

"My favorite hometown restaurant is Little Zagreb. I like the food and the atmosphere. Also, my wife and I have a lot of good memories of going there with our families as kids."

4.) What are some of your hobbies?

"Bloomington is nice because it's just a short drive to several lakes. I like to fish, hike, canoe, and just be outdoors in general. I have a 2-year-old daughter, and she loves being outside with me."

5.) What's your favorite TV show?

"My favorite shows are "Curse of Oak Island" and "Skin Walker Ranch." I like all sorts of historical documentaries. I like them because of the thrill of treasure hunting. Also, I like such docs because it gives you an appreciation for how the world has changed."
