Employee Spotlight: Get to know Lilly Ripberger
Lilly is a leasing consultant at the Covenanter Hill Neighborhood. To help you learn more about Lilly, I've asked her some "getting to know you" questions.
1.) What is your favorite local restaurant and why?
"My favorite restaurant has to be Siam House. Every dish I have tried has been delicious, but current go-to is the Green Curry."
2.) Do you have any pets? Tell us about them!
"I have one dog named Beans! He is a goofy rescue who loves people."
3.) What is your favorite book? Why is it your favorite?
"Over the past two years, I've had more time to read than ever! So many great books to choose from, but I have to go with The Guest List by Lucy Foley. This book has been described as a modern And Then There Were None—perfect mystery for a rainy day!"
4.) Everyone's got a guilty pleasure. What's yours?
"Definitely chips. I am a sucker for some kettle-cooked chips, but I really do love all flavors and varieties. I usually keep a bag on-hand unless I'm trying to be good."
5.) Where are you from?
"I was born and raised in Wisconsin! I lived there my whole life up until now. So far, I am pretty impressed by the cheese selection here, but there aren't enough fried cheese curds on local menus."
6.) What's your favorite season of the year and why?
"Fall would be my favorite if I had to pick just one. It is so colorful, bringing apple cider and pumpkin carving. The only downside is it's the indication of the bitter Wisconsin winter ahead. Looking forward to and already enjoying the better weather here!"
7.) What is your favorite sport and do you have a favorite sports team?
"I am a big hockey and basketball fan. I love Bloomington, but I am a Wisconsin Badger at heart. Go Bucky!!!"
8.) What is your favorite thing about working at Renaissance Rentals?
"The people!" Being very new to the team, I could not have imagined a warmer welcome. Everyday, I get to know everyone a bit better and they are all wonderful."
