And the Purple Cow goes to...! (2021)

If you visited a farm, you likely wouldn't be surprised to find some cows roaming around. But what if one of those cows were purple? Now that'd be remarkable! That's exactly the thought behind our aptly-named Purple Cow Award! At Renaissance Rentals, we're always striving to give our residents a remarkable leasing experience, and sometimes our staff goes above and beyond to accomplish this. We reward these efforts with the aforementioned award and this year it went to Jessica Tucker and Nova Kien of our Covenanter Hill community! This is their second win in a row!

Their project this year was the construction of a "Little Library" at Covenanter Hill! It's a small cabinet located in the middle of the community where residents can pick up or drop off books. All are encouraged to "take a book, leave a book" to support reading across the neighborhood. Residents might find a new favorite by searching the shelves of the Little Library!

The Library was constructed with the help of Adam, our maintenance coordinator, and Ben, Jessica's husband. The design is inspired by the look of the neighborhood's 2-bedroom townhomes, down to their gables and paint colors.
