Employee Spotlight: Get to know Nova Kien!

Renaissance Rentals is staffed by a diverse team of local professionals. In our employee spotlight blog series, we'll be highlighting the talented individuals that help to make our company Bloomington's most trusted local landlord!

Nova is a leasing consultant currently employed at our SummerHouse at Indiana community, but has previously worked at Covenanter Hill. To help you learn more about Nova, I've asked them some "getting to know you" questions.

1.) What is your favorite local restaurant?

"I love Sakura 15 - I'm a sucker for sushi."

2.) Do you have any pets? Tell us about them!

"I have a giant 18lb Yorkie named Bandit and a scruffy Mini Schnauzer mix named Todd. They are best friends and the three of us enjoy napping together and playing with other pups!"

3.) What is your favorite season?

"Fall is my favorite. The leaves are changing, the bugs are disappearing, and my most fashionable pieces fit the weather perfectly."

4.) What advice might you give to someone searching for an apartment?

"Know your budget and stick to it! It's hard to enjoy the home of your dreams if you are worried about being able to pay for it each month."

5.) Did you have a favorite cartoon show when you were growing up? 

"I loved, and still love, the original Pokémon show. Bulbasaur is my favorite Pokémon to this day!"

6.) How long have you lived in the Bloomington area and what do you like most about it?

"I moved to Bloomington in 2016 for my undergraduate degree. I like all of the different food options that Bloomington has to offer."

7.) Where are you from?

"I'm originally from Lowell, Indiana (it's nothing special). I lived there up until I began college, then I moved down to Bloomington!"

8.) Of all the floorplans and apartments our company offers, which is your favorite?

"I love the spaciousness of the McCormick—the kitchen is awesome!"
